The temperature in these units can be changed according to the ideal climate required for the items being stored. For most of the items listed in the first paragraph, a temperature between 68 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit would be ideal. Keeping the temperature constant for a long period of time ensures that fungus and mold caused by excessive humidity are kept at bay, as well as the ill effects of sudden temperature fluctuations.
Some Georgetown storage units offer this option in both stationary as well as portable storing containers. While the latter does fall into a higher price bracket, it might be a good idea to choose one of these if you have a flexible budget. The reason for this is that portable units can be moved to new locations with the items inside them. This means that you do not need to empty, repack or rearrange your belongings into a transportation van when you move. Instead, the unit is moved and you do your unpacking at the doorstep of the new location.
