    The mystery shopping association is quite concerned to maintain the ethics and professional standards of this industry. One of the most important objectives of the association is to improve the reputation of the industry by expanding the sense of value among the participants. The shopping company and shoppers, both have a set of guidelines to follow. However, in this profession nobody can act as a controller. So, each and every individual linked with this industry has to control himself to abide by the rules and regulations of this occupation. The ultimate objective of all these controlling issues is to satisfy the business Windsor storage owners, Quebec retailers and managers across the globe with a successful shopping report.

    The mystery shopping association has identified few codes of conducts for the shoppers and other members. This is to assure total honesty, professionalism, fairness and confidentiality to honour the interest of the business owners, shopping companies and shoppers. The main codes are described below.

    • The shopper should commit to improve his service and promote excellence in the industry
    • He will perform the assignments in an honest and sincere manner, to meet the ethics
    • He should conduct the assignments as per the industry rule and regulations set by the members
    • He should also perform the assignments confidently and ensure public cooperation in his project
    • He should pay respect to other members, shoppers, business owners and general people

    Once a shopper gets enrolled with the association, he needs to follow certain ethical conducts. If he violates any clause of this agreement, his membership might get terminated. These ethical conducts are described below.

    • The shopper should perform all the shops to the best of his ability
    • He should maintain honesty and integrity during the shop
    • He should always maintain the deadline to submit his reports and information
    • He should maintain confidentiality mentioned by his shopping company while he is on the assignment
    • In case the shopper is unable to work for any assignment, he should immediately inform the shopping company
    • He should always pay proper attention to reply back the communications within time
    • The mystery shopping association wants the shopper to store all documents related to the shops for at least 60 days in case they need to be produced to the client
    • The shopper should not go for any shop by not knowing the details of the shop and guidelines provided by the shopping company
    • He should not misinterpret any information in his reports
    • He is not allowed to break the confidentiality for himself or other shoppers
    • He should not use the mystery shopping association for blaming or complaining any related person
    • He should not share any information related to the shopping fee and reimbursement to any other shopper
    • He is also not supposed to share the result of a shop with some one else other than the shopping company
    • He is not allowed to declare his identity as a shopper, at the time of the shop
    • He can not claim employee status to any shopping company he is working for
    • During the shop assignment, he should not be in an inebriated condition.

    There are some other guidelines also, which you can find out at the time of signing up the membership agreement with the association as a shopper.
