Participation in forums and other communities that are centered around the industry and the agencies that we have an opportunity to work for gives us all kinds of wonderful feedback, both positive and negative, that can help point us in the right direction when it comes to getting ourselves some jobs lined up each week. After all, we are the responsible ones; we are the freelancers who are not only setting our own schedule, but also choosing which companies to accept assignments from. We have to be discerning and brutally honest with ourselves and continually ask whether or not the companies that we are working for are worth working for again.
